c38e5045af can: peak_pciefd: pucan_handle_status(): fix a potential starvation issue in TX path
commit b17233d385d0b6b43ecf81d43008cb1bbb008166 upstream.

Rather than just indicating that transmission can start, this patch
requires the explicit flushing of the network TX queue when the driver
is informed by the device that it can transmit, next to its
configuration.

In this way, if frames have already been written by the application,
they will actually be transmitted.

27eaaeedf7 can: peak_canfd: pucan_handle_can_rx(): fix echo management when loopback is on

Echo management is driven by PUCAN_MSG_LOOPED_BACK bit, while loopback
frames are identified with PUCAN_MSG_SELF_RECEIVE bit. Those bits are set
for each outgoing frame written to the IP core so that a copy of each one
will be placed into the rx path. Thus,

- when PUCAN_MSG_LOOPED_BACK is set then the rx frame is an echo of a
  previously sent frame,
- when PUCAN_MSG_LOOPED_BACK+PUCAN_MSG_SELF_RECEIVE are set, then the rx
  frame is an echo AND a loopback frame. Therefore, this frame must be
  put into the socket rx path too.

This patch fixes how CAN frames are handled when these are sent while the
can interface is configured in "loopback on" mode.

5592cd0390 can: peak_canfd: rearrange the way resources are released
This patch improves the sequence the resources are released by, first,

- disabling the IRQ in the controller, then by
- resetting the DMA logic, and finally, by
- adding a read cycle to ensure that the above commands have been received

before freeing the system interrupt.

5d4c94ed9f can: peak_canfd: fix firmware < v3.3.0: limit allocation to 32-bit DMA addr only
The DMA logic in firmwares < v3.3.0 embedded in the PCAN-PCIe FD cards
family is not capable of handling a mix of 32-bit and 64-bit logical
addresses. If the board is equipped with 2 or 4 CAN ports, then such a
situation might lead to a PCIe Bus Error "Malformed TLP" packet
as well as "irq xx: nobody cared" issue.

This patch adds a workaround that requests only 32-bit DMA addresses
when these might be allocated outside of the 4 GB area.

This issue has been fixed in firmware v3.3.0 and next.

ffd137f704 can: peak/pcie_fd: remove useless code when interface starts
When an interface starts, the echo_skb array is empty and the network
queue should be started only. This patch replaces useless code and locks
when the internal RX_BARRIER message is received from the IP core, telling
the driver that tx may start.

e6048a00cf can: peak/pcie_fd: fix echo_skb is occupied! bug
This patch makes atomic the handling of the linux-can echo_skb array and
the network tx queue. This prevents from the "BUG! echo_skb is occupied!"
message to be printed by the linux-can core, in SMP environments.

Don't rely on can_get_echo_skb() return value to wake the network tx
queue up: can_get_echo_skb() returns 0 if the echo array slot was not
occupied, but also when the DLC of the released echo frame was 0.

5c2cb02edf can: peak/pci: fix potential bug when probe() fails
PCI/PCIe drivers for PEAK-System CAN/CAN-FD interfaces do some access to the
PCI config during probing. In case one of these accesses fails, a POSITIVE
PCIBIOS_xxx error code is returned back. This POSITIVE error code MUST be
converted into a NEGATIVE errno for the probe() function to indicate it
failed. Using the pcibios_err_to_errno() function, we make sure that the
return code will always be negative.

PCAN-PCIe FD OEM      CAN FD Interface for PCIe OEM version (1, 2 or 4 ch.)
PCAN-M.2              CAN FD Interface for M.2 (1 or 2 channels)

Like the PCAN-PCIe FD interface, all of these boards run the same IP Core
that is able to handle CAN FD (see also http://www.peak-system.com).

8ac8321e4a can: peak: add support for PEAK PCAN-PCIe FD CAN-FD boards
This patch adds the support of the PCAN-PCI Express FD boards made
by PEAK-System, for computers using the PCI Express slot.

The PCAN-PCI Express FD has one or two CAN FD channels, depending
on the model. A galvanic isolation of the CAN ports protects
the electronics of the card and the respective computer against
disturbances of up to 500 Volts. The PCAN-PCI Express FD can be operated
with ambient temperatures in a range of -40 to +85 °C.

Such boards run an extented version of the CAN-FD IP running into USB
CAN-FD interfaces from PEAK-System, so this patch adds several new commands
and their corresponding data types to the PEAK CAN-FD common definitions
header file too.
